Anti Reflective Tempered Glass
Anti reflective glass also known as AR coating glass or low reflective glass or museum glass, is a float glass with an optically interference coated on one or two sides to eliminate reflections and increase the light transmission, which is manufactured through coating two reflective layers . The max transmittance can be up to 98%.
The purpose of an anti-reflective (AR) coating is to reduce these reflections off the lenses. When applied in a thickness of about a quarter of light's wavelength, the two reflections from each side of the film basically cancel each other out through destructive interference, minimizing the glare you see.
