Tilt and turn window can both tilt inwards at the top, like a hopper window, or open inwards from hinges at the side. The tilt position provides draft-free ventilation and rain protection. In the turn position, Tilt & Turn windows act as casement windows, swinging their full glass area open.
Tilt and turn window used in homes occupied by multiple generations. Available in various sizes and styles, it is able to handle most every climate, from humid summers to frigid winters. The first line of defense in tilt and turn window is thick, durable multiple air chambers in the frame which prevent colder air from being transferred to the middle air chamber. This creates a dead air lock which doesn’t allow either the cold or warmth to win the battle.
