The short answer is yes. All of our glass products undergo a specialized five-step process in which the glass is heat-treated in a special tempering furnace to make it stronger and safer from injury. Tempered is four to five times stronger than annealed or untreated glass, according to guidelines set by the standards organization ASTM International.
