SGP Laminated glass is one special laminated glass which is using SGP as interlayer. The laminated glass will tend to stay together and hold on SGP in broken, thus qualifying as a safety glazing material. The SGP laminated glass will stay standing when both sides glass are broken, it is about give times stronger and up to 100 times stiffer than PVB laminated glass. So the SGP laminated glass is widely used for the application which faces to bad weather like storms, hurricane and cyclone, not safety places and so on.
And the SGP yellow index is much smaller than PVB, so it is much more clear than PVB laminated glass, so high-end building project usually choose SGP laminated glass.
