Energy efficient glass, sometimes referred to as "sun control glass", "energy saving glass" or "eco-glass", is a type of glass designed to significantly reduce the amount of heat that passes through a window.
Energy efficiency can be achieved through glass tinting, vinyl tinting, low emissivity coatings, reflective coatings, double glazing, or a combination of the above. Depending on the combination used, the performance of the glass will vary, some better than others.
Energy efficient glass not only reduces the amount of heat leaving the building, but it also helps reflect any internal heat back into your space.
